".... all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;"

A frilly yellow glimmer
Tapped upon my eye
then filled my soul
with sunshine glow.

"...They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils."
                           William Wordsworth

Nice!

I'm going outside to see if any leaves are peaking up yet.
The photos are beautiful, Priscilla, and I've always treasured the Wordsworth poem.
I remember when I was about 17, I visited the Lake District and saw 'a host of golden daffodils', just as Wordsworth had seen them and then written about.
I'll never forget it.
Ours won't see daylight for about another month or so - sometimes later - but I saw my first snowdrop in the garden this morning. Spring may finally be sprung!
Thank you for the day-brightening photos, too!
..
U wishing you laughter
Thanks for sharing the poem and the beautiful pictures.
Needed to look at these daffys again this week. The loggers have decimated all the trees directly across the road from my house. Today was their last day.
So..........you and Wordsworth have cheered me.
