Imagine (Poem)

IMAGINE

Imagine...
a cold, dark night outside -
maybe raining or even snowing
but inside a fire burns
within a large, stone fireplace
soft, romantic music fills the room
as you gently take me in your arms

Imagine...
slowly our bodies become one
as we let the music lead us on
our lips touch lightly, then part,
then touch again and then once more
my hand cradled in yours,
close to your heart as we dance

Imagine...
our kisses becoming longer
but soft - caressing each other's lips
making love till dawn
savoring each touch, each kiss

Imagine...
living out our fantasies
creating a world all our own
walks on sunset beaches -
long talks held hand in hand
exploring lands near and far -
dreaming of our next adventure

Imagine...
days in constant anticipation
for nights alone in each other's dreams
living hour by each hour
as if the next will never come
laughing through the years
growing more in love as time goes on

Imagine...
nights teaching each other
exactly how to please the other
all the fun we'll have
finding new ways to satisfy one another

Imagine...
the joy that we could share
while living out our dreams
spending forever and eternity
enjoying every facet of each other
exchanging our weaknesses
for the strengths of one another

Imagine, my Love, Imagine
forever with each other -
Imagine what it can be...
