Hey...
One of my groups has been featured by Gather. It's on the "Groups" tab on the menu bar, and then number 6 in the display box. Woo Hoo and Yay me, LOL.
The Group is Arizona Splendor ... arizonasplendor.gather.com
Click on the blue above and come visit to see our own Gather version of Arizona Highways Magazine! You need not join, but there is some cool.. er... "hot" stuff in there... ;-) Of course if you want to join, all are welcome to this "theme" type group.
Actually, the timing is good. I wanted to post a test article since the change to the "Keats" version of Gather for group enhancement to see what may have changed if anything. So thought I might as well brag some while at it, ha!
Enjoy.... *** UPDATE*** "My time is up folks, no longer listed."

John, I hit save as draft about 30 times as I'm working on articles now, I'm so sick of putting in 45-mins to and hour working on one and then *poof*
Hey, I remember reading Arizona Highways a way long time ago as our libraries subscribed to it. Do they still put that magazine out?
Desert- hey thanks, and sure you can join. Just remember if publishing it is a theme group. It's a great magazine and I used to read it as a kid when I didn't live here yet. They still have the magazine, and here is a link to it-

Still wish you could send me some of that AZ heat... I'm freezing up here in MI.
Happy Belated Anniversary from Be Kind To Others!
Wow, John, this is a fabulous group! Thanks for sending an invitation. I've lived here since 1978 and have always been impressed by the stunning variety this state affords. The solitude and contemplative ingredients of the desert/mountain interface have drawn me to hours of outdoor study. Amidst the rocks and birds, one senses the loveliness of creation in miles of undisturbed splendor. Even in 122 degrees!
Thanks Glenn! We moved here in '86 and have never looked back ourselves, we love it here.... and yes, even in 122 degree weather, ha ha. Though I wouldn't mind moving a bit north someday, like to Prescott or something... ;-) I love the wide open spaces, and diversity of landscapes here... desert to tall pine so close together.
Thanks for joining the group, and I look forward to seeing you there. Take care.
