DREAMLAND
Ice cream mountains topped with sprinkles of chocolate...
or maybe peanuts or strawberries and your favorite sauce
A child’s fantasy? Don’t you remember?
Blueberry skies with cream puffed clouds of cotton candy
and fields of lemon drop daisies and cherry flavored roses
Come on...revisit a childhood dream with me...
Let’s float down a milkshake river that changes flavors
and run through meadows filled with lime flavored grass
Everything you see can be tasted
There are caramel apple trees and rocks of sugar candy
Licorice vines for swinging into jelly filled ponds
And best of all - you won’t gain a pound
Alas, our journey must end at reality’s pier
but we’ll always remember how nice it was in Dreamland
until we dare to visit our childhood once again
