Is it really every hour?

I was just wondering if the points actually update at specific intervals, or just randomly. I've noticed a few people mention their points update "for the hour" and want to know if they really do change at hourly intervals. I could swear that mine go up much more frequently, or maybe I'm just on here that long that I think it's only a little while each time. That's quite the possibility :)  So, anyone know for sure?

Someone told me about a month ago that the points update every hour. I have noticed that at aproximately 10 past every hour, I see an increase in my points.

what ya need to do is watch for yourself and see how you get the updates others will say different and all. but i have noticed at every 8 after i get updated.

I must be lucky, because there are times when mine will update every few minutes. Not since the upgrade, but it did do that before it.

Sometimes mine takes an hour but sometimes it takes thirty minutes or so. I don't think its really a set time. At night, it is for sure! :)

Usually mine are just after the hour, but they do occasionally seem to update sooner.

Yea I thought so, I did keep track for a few days once now that I think about it...Mine updated mor efrequently than once an hour. But not recently.

hmmm. I never noticed this. I know I've been on site more than an hour at a time (multi-tasking) and don't see points go up every hour... ???

To be honest I don't know. I log what my points are when I first come to Gather each day. Than don't look again til the next day. I have always made my point goal that I have wanted, if I went for a point goal.
