Okay, Time to Quit Playing Nice and Get On With Fixing the Country

Enough...already. The Republicans have never played the bipartisanship game. Pelosi is right, let's get on with cleaning up the debris left behind by the Republicans. And yes, you can stimulate the economy with spending, and no tax cuts don't fix much of anything -- even though they were Bush's remedy for everything from the economy to Western wildfires. Let's get on with the show.

Surprise, surprise. Even Democrats are upset about the spending bill. Oh, I'm not talking about politicians. I'm talking about real people. The doo-doo they've attached to the bill is insane. And the healthcare intrusions they desire are scary...to anyone over 40 or who has a chronic illness.

Pelosi should be wearing a GOP name tax and is not creditable at all after she joined the Bush gang.

Stimulus is spending money and that's what will help the economy for a short time which is better than handing more taxpayer money to GOP cronies.

This spending is too heavy in out years (so it isn't effective stimulus), is more focused on rewarding democratic party supporters and growing new ones than it is in actually helping the economy recover, and it's ineffectiveness will unfortunately make some call for the supposed need for more government action (good money after bad) or inflationary pressures (or both). Great.
