And I will quote from the article:
>Responding to her mother’s claim that she is incapable of caring for her new family, Suleman said: “What human on this planet is capable to take care of 14 independently without support from family, from friends, from church? No human is.”<
So let me get this straight, it was ok for her to 'think' that she was going to have all kinds of help and free stuff before she got pregnant via IVF. But once she played the woe is me, I am from a dysfunctional family, i was an only child, you name it, now she realizes that she is going to be alone.
Sure people will help her for a time, long enough for her to recover from birth, but being a parent is a full time job, and having 14 kids and now being responsible for them is hitting her in the face. She has no job, hasn't finished school.
It seems that she just expected the world to fall at her feet and now she is finding out what caring for 14 kids will mean, thousands and thousands of dollars a month....
I know I may be harsh when I say this but she made her bed.............she needs to realize that there are consequences for her action. The stress and financial burden that she has put on her parents has been, in my honest not so humble opinion is selfish.
She didn't want to get married, she wanted to go it alone, and now she is finding herself
And I suspect that not only is it lonely, but its scary.
The ones who are going to suffer the most, are the children, and I hope that she gets the help she needs for the sake of the children, or she will find herself the target of many many neglect and abuse claims.
Now she wants people to give her donations because she can't do it alone.....seems to me she should have thought of this and been counseled by doctors about being a single mom with 6 kids already, and getting IVF treatment and 8 embryos implanted. Sure Nadya is at fault here, but as equally there is a doctor who gave her the IVF treatment that I hope realizes what he has now done. There is no fame for someone who acts as irresponsible as the mother did.
