Help I need advice what would you do???

My son is in a co-op preschool, you know how sick he has been of late, I just got off the phone with one of the borad members over there and found out that alot of the kiddos have the same thing he does.  I am not sure if I send him to school.  The problem is I am on the Valentines day party planning.  I have stuff I have to drop off.  He has not had a fever in almost 24 hours, he has had 3 rounds of antibotics, he does have a runny nose.  I am confused, I know if I don't go, we will be down to 2 people helping to set up and clean.. The other 2 have the same sickness with thier kids that brayden has... what is the right thing to do???

If he has been fever free for 24hrs and has been on meds i personally would send him. How is he acting? Is he eating normal and acting fine again? If so i say send him if he is still feeling bad and not his normal self i would keep him home one more day

He should probably be all right. I would maybe pick up a tube or two of antibacterial wipes (clorax makes them) to take into school, and leave with the teacher. If the kids are passing it around that badly, the school room needs to be wiped down almost completely. The germs are spreading from kid to kid, which means the germs are covering everything.

He should be alright to go provided he's eating normally and moving around. Children are more contagious right when they develop a bug or before it's hit like Lisa said.

send him to school! he hasn't had a fever in 24hrs so he must be getting better. kids are super germy. send him in with some antibacterial gel and instruct him to use if often and not to share drinks/food/etc. with the others just in case.

I agree with most of the others. As long as he as been on the antibiotics and has been fever free I would send him. Good luck!

The rule is if he hasn't had a fever for 24 hours than he can be in school.

I hope he got a chance to go! Atfer 14 hours of antibiotics with no fever... he's probably "safer" than most kids at the party!
