I got word a little while ago that they are out of surgery and doing fine. Last night and this morning were hard, though, because I had to put them in the carrier last night before I went to bed and couldn't feed them or give them water after midnight. Then, I had to take them down the street in the cold air to meet the woman who was taking them to the vet. Gracie was shivering, she was so cold and they were both frightened and not understanding why Mama was taking them away and giving them to some stranger.
I just hate that they couldn't understand what was going on and that they'd be back home tomorrow. I can't wait to get them home and hold them. Of course, they may not be too happy with me at first since I sent them to get fixed but hopefully it won't last but a few minutes.
It's going to be hard without having them home tonight because I've gotten used to them running around and playing with each other. In fact, Mercy has begun playing a lot with the papa of my older group. Scrapper and Mercy were having the best time last night but Scrapper was being careful not to hurt him. They were so cute together.
Okay, I'll shut up now. I just miss them and can't wait until they are home.
