Its been going on for months and personally if they want to leave please just leave. I don't like to see dragged out leavings. It brings down a show and if you feel you can win an award some place else, then go do that show or movie. I think stars should be glad they have a high paying job and appreciate the fans and show up on time to work.
Katherine Heigl is leaving the show according to James Pickens Jr, who is an actor on the show. He stated T.R. Knight is leaving also. The President of ABC Stephen McPherson. stated T.R. Knight isn't leaving and will be back next season. It can't be he is leaving at season end and he is coming back next season.
The President at ABC should know what is going on, but I'm expecting T.R. is out of there, as he is in so few scenes that if he does sign another contract that it will be for very little and probably as an extra based on how often he is on the air. It certainly will be hard to live on it. I would walk, if I couldn't earn enough to pay my bills.
Katherine Heigl's stated about not being given "material ... to warrant an Emmy nomination" last summer. Personally, I think she is overpaid on Grey's Anatomy and her comments about her material were not correct. She is certainly on the air a lot and that cast is so huge that nobody can be on all the time. We all know Grey's Anatomy is going to give lots of lines to certain people.
I know many of you won't agree with me and I'm not trying to get agreement. I just want to state that actors should be looking at the economy just like most of us and be realistic. We can't all make 100,000's of dollars and live in fancy houses.
Will you miss these people from the show?

I enjoy the show, although disagreeing with many of the characters' choices. George was always my favorite character, so I'm definitely missing him.
I really like Katherine Heigl so I'm excited to learn she'll be back. Didn't expect to see her again.
