Tupperware makes a mistake and the customer and...

I went to help a friend out, and I have to say right now that I'm not happy, I prefer using firefox, but Tupperware does not have a Secure Sight for ordering in FireFox, I was not a happy camper, so I tried IE, secure sight

YES

But what I didn't realize until AFTER the order went through that it did NOT transfer my consultant,

Less than 12 hours I call tupperware and tell them to cancel my order.

"It's in Shipping"

I told them I placed the order less than 12 hours ago, and if that was the case I didn't want the order and they would loose business because people didn't realize their consultants were NOT getting their orders until it was too late.

I told them if their web programmer was this ate up and had his head up his butt (yes I said butt), and they couldn't give a secure sight in FireFox, and the information didn't transfer from FireFox to IE when a link was cut and paste, then its their fault, and they need to my order to the person I intended it to go to, or they need to cancel the order, because if it gets shipped I will be returning the product for a refund because they screwed up.

Now I am waiting to hear back because they had to escalate the claim, because I want my order canceled.

Chalk one up to lousy web programming!

Oh nooo......what a real bummer........I would say yes, they should cancel your order since you wanted it cancelled right away.........if they don't, you'll probably have to return it to the company for a refund. I don't understand why the information couldn't/didn't transfer from Firefox to IE. I would be upset, too!

They said they can't transfer it, they can only try to cancel it............I told them they need new web programmers.

I've known several Tupperware consultants who quit being consultants because of stuff like this, and because of how wretched the return policy is for them to handle. I've had replacements needed for a while and can't find a local rep who will call me back to handle it. Guess I'm gonna have to call the company directly.

I got lucky, I was able to get my order canceled, so I can replace the order. I am going to place the order with the consultant directly, so I will send the money directly to her to avoid this screw up.

thats crap, they need to give credit to the consultant. I don't see why it would be so hard to do it. I'd be mad too.
