The feet bones is the one that surprises me so much.
I had to look up the scissors one, becasue De Vinci interests me and it's something I didn't know. De Vinci didn't invent them. Scissors actually date back to Egypt in 1500BC.

I was going to say something similar to what Nancy said about scissors. They have been found in Viking graves (which are obviously younger than the Egyptian graves). But I'm sure they've been invented and re-invented and passed around as well.

Knowing Da Vinci, and I knew him pretty well back in the day, it wouldn't surprise me if he came up with improved scissors. I remember the scissor races in Florence. Those were the days.

Yep! Right up until the Medici family got caught doping with fermented olive oil and using paid runners. Went downhill fast after that.
