They say that power corrupts. I had no idea it could corrupt so quickly.
It's less than one month that Barack Obama has been President, and already he's turning into George W. Bush.
Obama is expanding the unconstitutional faith-based initiatives without any of the safeguards that he promised.
He's continuing the Big Brother electronic spying program against Americans begun under George W. Bush.
He's supporting the fraud of "clean coal" with one billion dollars in government subsidies for the imaginary technology.
As of yesterday, President Barack Obama is claiming the powers of a Unitary Executive to overrule the law and the Constitution and end any lawsuit he pleases merely by claiming that "state secrets" are involved. Obama says he doesn't have to provide any evidence of that claim. He just has to make a declaration, and any lawsuit he doesn't like has to end.
The particular lawsuit involved has to do with U.S. government kidnapping and torture.
This is the kind of abuse of power President Obama was supposed to STOP.
