Pro Wrestler Was "Attacked by a Mob"

Craziness!

I'm a little lost...it seems like some of the people were mad at him to begin with (and I don't pay attention to wrestling). He never should have hit the woman even if she was being rude, annoying and I think I saw her hit him too. Crazy...

Well it seems the people were mad at him, from what I can see the woman attacked him first, should he have hit her back probably not the smartest move on his part.

Security should have taken care of that situation long before it got to that point, That is the reason they are there.

Does anyone know what pre-empted this insanity? And he didm't shove that woman he slugged her.

Someone dear to me temporarily lost her mind (only possible excuse for such a lapse in judgment) and dated a wrestler. He was physically, emotionally, and financially abusive and years later she still hasn't recovered the money he stole from her or been able to shake his stalking. I realize it is unwise to lump all people in one profession together, but it is perfectly logical to expect that people who choose a dishonest, violent profession will be dishonest and violent.

My question to you Gene - why did you word this sentence they way you did: "Jericho flipped out and the woman was knocked to the ground." It looks like you are linking the flipping out to the woman ending up on the ground, yet you switch to passive voice, vague terms. Is this your attempt to excuse what he did, to admit that you don't know what happened and are too lazy to find out, or just poor writing?

I didn't write it. I got the info from TMZ - I even posted a link to it. I thought it was interesting and people would like discussing it.

From more reports that have come out it sounds like the story goes like this. Jericho is pulling away and some jerk runs up to the side of his SUV pounding the windows and flipping him off. Some other jerks step in front of the SUV and Jericho has to come to a stop. There are reports Jericho tried to get out of the vehicle to calm the situation, but the fan kicked the door back shut on him. Even at this point Jericho didn't become aggressive. Fans at the scene said Jericho offered to take pictures and give autographs so he could move on to the next town. At this point the same drunk idiot who was beating at his car window and kicking his door shut starts being a jerk again. I guess Jericho tries getting into his car when the idiots girlfriend hits Jericho from behind(also rumors she spit on him) and he turns and swings/pushes her away. Then the boyfriend gets involved, Jericho takes him down, Jericho screams for the security to do their job or call the police, Jericho speeds away in his SUV.

I'm not saying what he did was right, but when you have a bunch of drunk idiots rioting and a few security guards that don't know how to do their job it would get pretty scary. If someone punched me in the back and spit on me I would probably turn and swing if I were in the same situation. Imagine ducking into your car and someone from a group of people rioting hits and spits on your from behind, I am gonna swing or push them off just like he did. However at that point I would of done it so I could get into my vehicle safely and get the hell out of dodge. He should have never gotten back out and went after anyone else.

It did sound as if the woman spit. Whether she hit him or not we don't know. Security should have never let it get to the point where the people were obstructing his departure.

Security did break down but these fans have got to get a grip. Pro wrestling isn't real it's scripted. I know it has it's fans but these guys need to take a reality time out.
