Multi-platinum singer, Chris Brown was arrested by Los Angeles police prior to tonight's Grammy Award ceremony.
Apparently, early Sunday morning, Brown and an unidentified woman were seen arguing in their car at L.A.'s luxurious, Hancock Park neighborhood. Witnesses said that the woman had visible facial injuries.
However, he and girlfriend, R&B singer, Rihanna were seen cavorting at J Records founder, Clive Davis's pre-Grammy party. Brown and Rihanna both cancelled their scheduled appearance at tonight's gathering.
A rep for Rihanna identified the battered woman as Rihanna. She said that the artist "was doing well" and "appreciated the support".
