Why do we search, for life sublime
We all come to the same end in time
We postulate upon the ways
To get to the optimal place
In waves of good intent.
How many views, how much news
To take into our consciousness'
To choose the correct path
Can only confuse and clutter the mind
To the truth we can find
By just keeping still, by leaving our will
To take us to the place
We shall find the grace we need
No other man or woman shall we heed
Trust oneself to nourish and feed
The empty places we strive to fill
Without greed or bending will.
But to release the feeling of right
To relinquish the yearning to fight
With those who take another way
Is the path to forgiveness of oneself
For without doing that, we will pay
The price of freedom to find ourselves
On our own
A way to get home.
So bury the bone.
