As a alot of you know, it seems like everytime I turn around lately one of the kiddos is getting sick. I took bray in to the dr. on friday. They said he has fluid behind his ear drum. The poor kid has woken up the last two night scream and crying his ear hurts. I am getting really conceren. I have been giving him mortin and the Dimatapp stuff they wanted me to give him, but to me it does not seem any better. Last night I took his shirt off to put him in to pjs and he screamed. His shirt caught his ear. It seems like any amount of pressure on it makes him cry. I feel like there is more then what i was told. Should i try to call the on call dr? the hubby is saying no, but I have that little mother voice in my head telling me there is something more there...

would be concerned.
I know how painful Ear infections can be.
Try warming a washcloth in the dryer and letting him lay on it.
The Dr. may need to give him ear drops for the pain.
Hope this helps and keep us updated.
hugs :)
Please take him in
My 11 year old always had fluid present. Her eardrums would rupture from the pressure, without ever getting an infection. After two years of this, she was legally deaf in one ear, and had lost 40% hearing in the other. Eventually she outgrew it, around 5 years old, and it is just now that her hearing is starting to improve... ear infections and fluids are no joke.
