Of course you're knot one string. You're as many strings as you're frayed into. And the reductionists will count them and announce that it's something like "42" and everyone will look and wonder, could that be it? The answer to life, the universe, and Sarah?

(Okay, what I mean is that that's pure genius, even if the frayed knot is recycled.)

I haven't heard about the donkey and the Bermuda onion either... I searched the net and I'm no wiser (as I'm fairly sure the version that makes no sense and ends with "WHITE POWER!" is not what you meant).
