Are you a fan of Vampires?  If the answer is yes, then keep reading, as I'm quite excited to post this information.  You all know I enjoy checking out television shows based on books and even read the books based on movies.  The only bad part is the network that this television show will air, as not everyone has the network in their area.

The network is CW and the title of the television show is Vampire Diaries.  The pilot is already written by Kevin Williamson with Julie Plec and will exec produce with her and Alloy's Les Morgenstein and Bob Levy.  Kevin was the creator of Dawson's Creek, which was a successful show and the Scream Movies.

There is Elena, the beautiful high school student and two vampire brothers named Stefan and Damon fighting over the girl.  There is another girl, who turned the boys.  I haven't read the books, but they are best sellers.

Will you watch the televison show?  There is talk that it could be on the fall schedule.  Anyone you think would be perfect for the main roles?

I do like vampires but I'm not sure if I'll watch it (I did see the commerical for it a while back).

Sounds cool! I read the books when I was younger, but don't really remember if I liked them or not. It's been so long. haha. I might have to re-read them before the show comes out. :)

I love books about vampires.... It's one of my very guilty pleasuers. I never got around to reading the Vampire Diaries, I checked out the first book but I was just to busy to read it. I might just borrow it again though

I was/am a big fan of LJ Smith and i'm very excited that her books got picked up for a tv series. The down side of all this is they are changing wayyyy too much. I mean heck they changed the vampire brothers last name from salvatore to whitmore. That's CRAZY! I will still watch it cause I read the books and loved them. Though I gotta say 1-3 is the best 4-5 eh I got through them.

check out her books they are young adult and were around wayyyy longer than Twilight. Though her series is getting picked up probably because of Twilight's fame.

After the last episode of True Blood ended and I searched for a new great
vampire show. I found this tv show and watched it on

the episodes of Vampire Diaries!
