The last Escape episode saw the craziest meltdown in the history of BlogTV as both the cast and production of the show exploded into a fit of rage. It all ended with Shane and Joey in the exemption final two and a tie breaker at hand. In the end Shane won the tie breaker challenge, thanks to mental math, and was safe from the nights eviction ceremony. Steven told the cast that they had two minutes until voting occurred and things got a bit strange. Joleen gave her clue to Jordan while Joey gave his clue to Rob. Shane also shared his information about the key to Amanda, meaning everyone was was now paired up with someone and things were getting interesting. Things got a bit more interesting when Shane claimed he was walking out but showed Amanda how to use his key before doing anything irrational. With that knowledge Amanda then came out from being the underdog and talked to Joey about voting out Joleen and then Shane. It was then time for the votes but Rob spoke up about leaving the game. He didn’t feel like he could take the “crap anymore” and wanted the players to vote him out. Everyone spoke up about the walk out though, telling Rob that they all had the same feelings about walking out and tried to make him stay. It’s probably because they want Joleen out instead but the votes were still occurring. Joey was up first and decided to vote for Rob since he wants to go home. Rob was up next and voted for Jordan, although he really wanted to vote for himself. Jordan seemed to be voting for Rob but his vote was never actually revealed and that’s where things changed completely. Amanda voted for Joleen, wanting her to “go away” and she feels more confident that she’ll be going home this time. Joleen then possibly screwed herself by voting for Amanda while Shane joked about voting out Steven.
Shane’s vote was never revealed and in the end Amanda’s dirty work well, worked as Joleen was sent home. She was shocked to hear her named called for eviction and seemed a bit angry. Following Joleen’s picture being burned she gave us a confessional about the BlogTV people having an advantage in the game. After trusting Amanda, Joleen was feeling betrayed but still wished everyone luck and was happy to have participated in a reality show. Back into the game we went and Steven revealed that a twist was about to occur. It was back to back evictions and their next challenge was upon them. 840 cups were thrown onto the floor with letters written on the inside. They had to find the cups that spelled “ESCAPE”. The first person to do so would win exemption and be safe from eviction. As players began rummaging for cups it seemed like mayhem. Everyone was grabbing but Jordan came out with an early lead with Amanda catching up rather quickly. It all came down to a three way tie for the last letters between Amanda, Jordan and Shane with Amanda gaining the full word and giving her the exemption for the surprise eviction. Another twist was then brought into light as the vote was a verbal vote. They had to vote in front of everyone, revealing who they voted for and possibly changing the tally. A sudden turn of events then transpired with Shane simply walking out of the game. His reason: the beach looked nice. It was clear that Shane wanted to leave earlier but his walk out still had consequences. The vote was still going down, meaning the final three would be reached. Who will be the next person evicted and who will be in the final three? Tune in next Thursday at 9pm est to The Escape on BlogTV to find out.
