Yet another interesting month and another interesting challenge. Congrats to all who participated. If you didn't pick up a camera and get some shots in...then take a few moments and look at the photos.
Roy called this one after careful consideration.
Roy:
For me, the hands-down winner is Tonia, who hugs trees G's rothkoesque shot from the Arkansas Bluffs. This still just blows my mind that it's a camera shot. As I said to her in my original comment, this for me is very much reminiscent of a Mark_Rothko painting, with the white areas seemingly ringed by black. I just really love the balance of the composition and the use of the rippled reflection, and the way the different colors seem to just naturally fit like pieces of stained glass in the deep blue of the sky.
Honorable Mention, Gayle:
CC Miranda.....Tail light reflection distortion
CC's image is a creative take on the challenge....The composition was also appealing....there are multiple distorted reflections.
Honorable Mention, Doyle:
Eric I......Wisconsin Capitol
While I'm not particularly a fan of the rakish angle of the shot I think the concept of the shot and the multiple panes of glass each contributing one small part of an overall whole make a seriously eye-catching composition.
Again, judging is not easy at all. Judging is HARD. I'd much rather be taking photos than judging them. I just want to say thank you for those that participated and we're all honored that you posted your photos. I'd also like to thank our judge d'jour, Roy.
Thanks to Roy....for both a stimulating challenge and the time he took to judge it!

CC - don't show him the shot; he'll probably think you owe him something for winning!

I'll try to enter again, if I can just figure out why I have so much trouble uploading images...
