Playful fingers all entwined

Giggles from soft cherub lips

Tingling of finger tips

She is six and he is seven

Cupid's arrows fall from heaven

Mother's call it's dinner time

A parting kiss is so divine

Each happy, goes off to bed

Sweet memories dancing in their head

She dreams of him with a princely crown

He sees her in a pure white gown

Years later he asks, Will you be mine

Forever, not just my Valentine

She demurely nods and sighs

I'm eternally yours, no goodbyes

Fingers once again entwine

Rings exchanged, a toast sublime

To life and love to last through time

One big heart, one Valentine

It almost made me cry, Elsie.......Most of the time, I don't believe in love, then I think of you and Bill, and then my own larry, so far back in the distant past, and I KNOW LOVE is TRUE......... Thank you, my dear....:)
