My fabulous birthday!......so far

TODAY.....is my birthday!

I am someone who loves the attention birthdays bring and welcome all the hugs, and high fives and cards and well wishes!!  My birthday is half over and if it ended now, I would be blessed by all my day has blessed me with!

I had to work early today and I had lots of co workers stop by to wish me a happy day...my mom called me at work, so I talked to her for a bit, and then my manager got me a cake, and there were balloons and lots of hugs!  Lots of customers stopped by and said happy birthday and even one of my fellow employees came to my department and played Happy Birthday on his harmonica for me!  I loved it all!

My daughter who works with me but in a different department, came over to say Happy Birthday Mom, and to top it all off, my name was picked at random for our departments "hole in one" award!  I am a pharmacy tech and we have this box where  you can put random comments on a piece of paper when you see someone doing a great job with something....once a month our boss has someone pick out a name and it was done today and my name was picked!  The comment written about me was from a time a couple weeks ago when I stayed an hour over because we were very busy, and no one else would stay.  For that I got  my choice of any $25 gift card off our gift card rack in the strore. I chose a restaurant Carrabas that my family will take me to for my birthday on Saturday.  I came home to a beautiful mushy card and a set of shell windchimes from my husband and my daughter gave me two pretty stepping stones for my garden, i can't wait til Spring to put them out!  My son and his girl will be over later for cake, my daughter is cooking a chicken dinner and doing the dishes.

Next Thursday, my galpal forever Rosie and our friend Patty will take me out to dinner and then the following Saturday I will go to the Olive garden and the movies with my girls I grew up with...

Is it any wonder why I LOVE BIRTHDAYS?  YOUR AS OLD AS YOU FEEL!!!
