I found out the answer to this question today. My two and a half year old son and I were having a conversation while folding the laundry. It went a little something like this.
"Mommy, monsters with masks mean?" said my son Aidan.
"Yes, they are sweetie," I replied back.
"Mommy, Bailey mean." (this is one of the little girls at daycare that's three years old) "Mommy, Bailey throw book at Aidan."
"That's not very nice to throw books at our friends, is it?" I said.
"Uh Uh, Mommy," says Aidan.
"Aidan, is Mommy nice?"
"No, Mommy mean." (ha ha ha)
"Is Daddy nice Aidan?"
"No, Daddy mean." (ha ha ha)
"Is Maddie nice?" I asked again.
"No, Mommy, Maddie mean."
"Well, honey, is ANYBODY nice?" I asked.
"Uh huh. ME nice. Aidan nice."

I loved this story so much that I even read it to my husband. He enjoyed it as well. The things kids say. LOL

This is just too cute.....if you want to know something always ask a child!!!!
They are so silly at this age! My daughter is 2 1/2 too and says the funniest things sometimes!
