...THE STATE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DEBTS INCURRED OR THE CONTENTS OF THE LETTER
This is what each one of my letters received are stamped with from my husband. Big. Black. Bold. On the outside of the envelope.
I often wonder what my mail carrier thinks of me.
My husband has written me a letter EVERY SINGLE DAY since the day he went into prison. I have three boxes filled with letters and cards from him.
He writes about his day-to-day living in the joint. He writes about how much he loves me. He writes about our life together in the past and looking forward to the future. He makes games such as hangman and 20 questions for us to send back and forth. He clips newspaper articles that he thinks I might be interested in. He draws pictures of his surroundings so I can see what it's like where he is. He makes song suggestions for me to download... songs that make him think of me.
When I go to the mailbox each day, it's like a little surprise is waiting for me. A gift. Sort of like Christmas time!
I'll probably never read all of these letters again. I don't think that I'll want to think back to this time too often once we are together again. But, knowing that I have boxes filled with his words of love and encouragement are a comfort, and I'll save them forever.

This is just the mans way of keeping you informed and protected like if he calls collect the recording says the is a collect call from a Federal Prison. If you want to block this call push 1 or what ever.

I hope he is home soon.
I hope he comes home soon and shows you just how much he really loves you

In the meantime, cherish each of his letters... and don't worry about what the postal carrier thinks.
