So far our kids have had so many 2 hour delays this winter that I've lost count. Forget the 2 hour delay because of the Super Bowl(I'm still perplexed over that one).
TI think there should be a new rule. In Pittsburgh from Dec 15-March 1st the kids school should always be on a two hour delay. That way parents don't have to get up early to check the listings. They will just know. It's too cold at 7am and it's still dark here. So a 10am start would be good. Just think it will be a bit warmer and light.
Once I'm up, I'm up and can't go back to sleep. It would be nice to sleep in once in a while.......just my opinion. It's disappointing to get up and find out there is a delay and I don't have to be up yet.
It is negative 9 here today with the windchill. Too cold for the kids to stand outside for a bus. I'm glad they delayed school , it's not safe for the kids.
Just a morning incoherent though on this Thursday morning.

This weekend is suppose to be 50.
Everyone will be sick because of the change. I am just trying to keep our pipes from freezing again.
