Winter White - A Bright Spot!

My world is very white right now...

And even though white makes things bright...

I struggle to find beauty in it...

Yet it's there, everywhere... if you simply look for it.

It might be the view outside your door...

And it might be something much, much more...

A cozy comforter on a chilly, cold night...

A hot bowl of soup that makes you feel all right.

It might be a flower if you're oh so lucky...

It might be something "everyday", or something kind of funky.

It might be in a rainbow, or it might be just white...

Whatever you find, it's sure to be bright.

Because white is a bright spot in the dark days of winter...

So,  this week at Rainbow Connections, we'll take a look at Winter White... find beauty in it...

That's right.... shoot for the moon...

Because this week, we'll glorify white...

(Although secretly, I'm hoping it goes away soon!) :-)

* Winter White, the new color of the week at Rainbow Connections ~ Colorful Competitions, will run through approximately February 10th. Please join us in posting photos, poems, videos, stories, original artwork, and other whimsical creations that pertain to the color Winter White. Whether snowy or warm, inside or out, if possible, please post white pictures that were taken in the wintertime...

Please join the fun at Rainbow Connections if you haven't already, and come see the world though new "color sensitive" eyes...

The first photo is the same bench in my icon, but looking at it from the opposite direction. Actually, we unburied it and put it in the garage now.
