Pain

Pain can be pleasure,

make you feel whole,

squeeze out tears

that drown the soul.

 

Pain can bring solace

once the weeping is done;

Scars may remain

but they point to the sun.

 

Pain draws you in,

makes you scream, makes you soar;

Pain takes you to places

you've never been before.

 

It envelpes you, centers you

as it calls out your name.

Pain leads you to growth

as you run from your shame.

Very beautiful poem........full of emotion.....sometimes pain seems really bad, but it can also be a way in which we can grow as well.

Beautifully written poem about a subject hard to write about, Most of us have pain, at one time or another, and if we are lucky we can lose it or accept it as just another part of our life and move on.
