Now we aren't supposed to get snow here in Myrtle Beach. Well, maybe every ten years or so they say, but this is only our second winter here and it is snowing again today. The last "snow" was a few weeks ago, we had a 30 second snow squall move through. I didn't really complain about that, it was neat to see. It has been so cold the past month and a half I'd swear I was back up north. This morning I got up, opened the blinds and it was snowing. I quick looked at the thermometer and it's 28 degrees and I can hear the wind howling. The pond has waves rolling across it from the wind. Was I transported up north over night?
This is what the computer weather tells me:
I throw on some warm clothes and run outside to take some video. This is definitely not something I would have done back home, after all, snow in the winter is very normal there.

Now I hope this is the last of our snow for many years to come. The sun is starting to peek out now and that poor little duck in the pond is as happy as I am. Now if it would just warm up a bit I'd be happy.

Some homes had frost on them here this morning. Right now it is 65 outside& very windy, tonight they say 35 maybe even colder in the western party of the county. There are no clouds in the sky.
It is very strange weather down South.
