My Mom went to the better place today, posted February 3, 2009

I am numb.  Is all I feel is emptiness inside.  I have to keep focused and I need to keep reminding myself that this is not about me.  It happened this afternoon at 2:15 PM.  My sister and I were both with her.  I will post pictures and have a Gather Tribute for her in a few days.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom many years ago. And although it had been expected, it was still hard. I think about her often and it is always happy memories.
You will NEVER forget her, but the pain will subside and it will be easier to handle.
