How I Look at Love - Expressions

What is love, there are so many kinds

I know love is an emotion

How can I describe the feelings

Some very deep, shown by your devotion

There is the love for your parents

That is the unconditional one

And when they return it the same way

You know there's more to come

The love , “the in love” kind,

Is so wonderful to share

There is nothing else like this love

No feeling on earth can compare

From that love comes children

For most of us anyway

Another unconditional love you receive

Stored  in your heart to stay

The love from friends is precious

There may only be just a few

But those that are loyal you will know

Their love will be true blue

Then the older love, the still “in love”

That ripens and mellows with age

Is a very special love I know

It's wonderful to reach this stage

Love continues throughout eternity

When a loved one leaves there's no end

For their spirit never leaves your heart

There's a bank of love there to spend

I am in love with life, another kind

No matter what knocks I take

For without that love of life I have

There's no difference I could make

I could go on forever,

For love is in my every dream

The stars that twinkle and the moon

are mine, enhancing my love theme
