Just when we think that it is over snow is going to be returning tonight *sighs* this is so annoying. I just wish that it would be like March already cause in Kentucky if we are in March the chances of us getting snow are like slim to none. but anyways..This is what it is saying on the Local news website... I just hope that we do not get it but it looks pretty nasty..Keep us in your thoughts and prayers...IT IS RIGHT NOW 12.. feels like -10
A strong upper air disturbance will cross through east Kentucky
today with another descending through the area late tonight.
The combination of these weather features will result in a
cold, blustery, and snowy period from Tuesday morning through Tuesday night.
Accumulating snowfall will occur throughout all of east Kentucky with
amounts ranging from 1 to 4 inches across the area.
The lowest amounts are expected in the Cumberland Valley and highest totals
should be found in the mountains along the Virginia border.
As much as 6 inches of snow over the 24 hour period will be possible on the
highest peaks along the Virginia border.
In addition to the snow...brisk and blustery winds of 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts
will blow around the snow while adding to the chill.
