I love doing crafts, and am always coming up with new little projects. I will go to the craft store and buy stuff, not even knowing what I am going to use it for, then when I am ready to make something I will just go to my craft supplies and see what I can throw together to make something!
I started making these last spring, and gave them to family this year for a Valentines/spring gift.
It can be a great craft project to do with your kids as it is easy to make and they will have a great time doing it.

What I used to make this craft:
mini clay pots:

wire: (doesn't have to be colored but I used what I had)

Buttons:

yarn: (I actually used green, but I couldn't locate it at the moment so I took a pic of the same stuff in pink instead:
I also used:
Scissors
glue gun
paint
small bits of foam to put in the bottom of the pot to hold the wires
First I painted the mini pots a pink color.
While those were drying I started cutting sections of wire. About 8-9inches each, they don't need to all be the same size though.
Then I chose 3 buttons of slightly different shades and sizes for each piece of wire and wired it thru the button holes. I folded the wire in 1/2 then wired it thru the holes on the front of the buttons. Then twist the wire together to hold the buttons in the middle.

After I was done with this I started at the top of one "flower" and put just a little bit of the end of the yard thru the wire right behind the buttons and started wrapping it around tightly till I got to about 1/4inch from the bottom of the wire, then I sort of made a small knot and left a couple of inches of yarn dangling.
I chose 2 flowers that I thought went well together and stuck them into each tiny piece of foam and hot glued it into the pot. Then I put glue on top of the foam and wrapped the rest of the loose yarn around to fill in the white parts to look like grass in the pot.
Then just rearange the flowers till you like how they look in their pots :)

You can paint the pots any color you like, or even with designs, or cover with glue and add glitter instead! You can also use any color or shape of buttons, different colors of yarn, wire.....
OR use slightly bigger pots and put even more flowers in each one.
The yarn isn't neccesary, I just had it on hand and thought it would be cute! You could even just use green pipe cleaners if you wanted green stems.
Just use your imagination and HAVE FUN!!!!

I actually just got some awesome new fabric yesterday that I am going to use to make a cute outfit for Maddie. It is so cute!
Then some more fabric that I am going to be using for a project in little brothers room. I also got a couple bits of fabric from the remnants section that I just couldn't pass up the price on, since I had a little bit of money my dad gave me to spend on myself I just used it at the craft store :)
I love crafting with buttons!!!
Thank you so much for sharing the instructions
to create this delight!
