Alaskan governor, Sarah Palin recently criticized SNL writer/actress, Tina Fey. Apparently, Ms. Fey's impersonation of the politician brought more attention to the Republican's disorganized Presidential campaign. Gov. Palin also made disparaging remarks about comedian, Heather McDonald. The Chelsea Lately star also portrayed the governor in several, pre-Election Night skits.
It appeared that the Alaskan politician "hated" her instant celebrity. Her character has starred in soft-porn and hardcore porn, web shows. In addition, she received countless endorsement deals from the late-night publicity. Gov. Palin's exploits were "the comedy of legends".
But, this "comedy" did a disservice to Sen. John McCain and his campaign. McCain's people criticized Gov. Palin for failing to know the presidential candidate's policies. They blamed her for women voters retreating to Obama's camp. She wasn't the "qualified" female VP candidate they hoped for.
Palin's supporters have sent hate mail to NBC's Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock programs. But, Ms. Fey contended to portray the governor with class and elegance.
Despite the publicity, Hollywood didn't send the Grand Old Party packing.
Gov. Palin's dysfunctional family, bimbo-like behavior and political incompetence contributed to their mass exodus.
