Locus 2008 Recommended Reading List

Locus has published their 2008 recommended reading list--a consensus of ten Locus editors and Reviewers.

On the list for 2008 for Short Stories is "Offworld Friends Are Best" by Neal Blaikie (Greatest Uncommon Denominator Spring ’08). Also, GUD Author JM McDermott's "Last Dragon" made the list for First Novels!

I'm glad they included Jonathan Carroll, I think he is truly a brilliant writer, unappreciated in America. Also I was happy to see 'Hunger Games' on the YA list. A really good book.
