Gather Tax Info in Today's Mail = $2,084

My tax info arrived today from Gather.  It shows that I made $2,084.14 in 2008 on Gather.  This was the last tax paper I was waiting to arrive, will be headed to our CPA tomorrow to drop our tax folder off!

Here's to a nice refund.  :)

YEs, Mine came too, and I boy was I surprised my total earned from gather was
$2,075.31

I started on Gather mid year, so I did not earn enough to have to filed it. I am expecting one from Epinions though.

I think I am safe, only $350 in a year in gift certificates. Not good at all.
Gather is also the last one I am waiting for. I am hoping it arrives tomorrow, so we can file our taxes by this weekend.

I only made $225 in target gift cards and I'm happy. I guess you can put extra cheese on your pizza.

They wont send you one unless you made over $600 right?? I only cashed out once in 2008 for a $25 GC,,,,,,I am safe right??

Anything earned whether cash or gift cards, $600 or more! That's correct!

Holy cow....that's a LOT to have made on here!!!! I just started in mid-September so just had a puny bit.....however, I am thrilled, as I got my Hausernet.com 1099 form today, for my online data entry job!!!! Finally....it was the last one to come.....we're getting our taxes done on Valentine's Day!!!!

Wow! Congratulations! I just joined in September so I hadn't earned enough to even be close to needing a tax form by the end of the year. I'm hoping I'll need one for next year's taxes. :)

Yes I got mine today but I am still waiting on a 1099 from one of the companies my husband does security work for. I wish it would hurry up and get here so I can call my accountant and get the ball rolling.

So, since you made enough to file (that is a LOT of money for just one site!!) does that mean you will be paying taxes on those earnings? I once read that some people pay as much as 40% of their income in taxes when they earn like this. That scares me to death! I know I won't get to the thousand range but someday I may earn $600.

We filed our Taxes online friday night after getting our last W2. We should be getting our refund in a couple weeks. It will be direct deposited into our bank account.
Then we are going to look into getting a van.
