If common sense was common ... then it seems relevant that our society would function on organized humanitarian platforms.
From homes, to business, to government, our infrastructure would be solid and dependable. But it seems no matter where you go and what you try to do, a thousand and one glitches awaits you.
General communication between people is breaking down faster than the speed that we enjoy on our computers. We have more avenues of expression, but less and less understanding. Plethoras of knowledge abound, but less and less agreements.
Common sense would tell us - that common sense is not so common anymore.

Look no further than "parenting," the "university," and Liberalism.
One more big change is how many children get away with anything at school. It isn't always the parents fault, as some of them act fine at home, but their friends influence their decisions at school. I think schools are babysitters today with less learning in many classes and many areas students are graduating and can't do simple math and read at the 12th grade level.
