After news broke about the terrible corruption involved with the destruction of houses in Jale, Albania, the World Bank ceased operations to "investigate the mismanagement of the operation." To be biased... what a load of BS. Seriously, how long will people put up with the crap fed to us by organizations like the World Bank?
They went in with very clear directives to their subordinates to destroy these homes so they could begin developing the area for clear monetary gain. These homes were built illegaly, I'll give you that. But they were built to house family members, not run drug operations or terrorist cells. Aren't there better things the World Bank could be doing with their funds than creating an altogether different housing crisis in Albania?
