What An AWESOME Weekend!!!

Most of you know that my husband and I had a concert to go to Friday night.  I have to say it was totally worth the wait, and the money we spent.   The concert itself was totally terrific, but that ain't the only thing that made the weekend great.  After the concert, we went back to our hotel, and went down to the bar because we just went ready to call it a night.  And OMG who was standing there at the bar when we walked in, but Jason Aldean himself!!!  He was standing around like anyone else there, drinking a beer.  He jumped up on stage, and sang a few songs, then walked around the crowd talking to people.  We actually got to meet him, and speak to him.  I know this is safe for me to say, because I said it earlier in front of Jeremy,  the pictures don't do him justice at all.  Jason Aldean is HOT!  He didn't get to stay there for very long, he had to be in Wisconsin the next night for another concert with Toby Keith.  But I was totally impressed with him.  He truly is just another down-home country boy, like the rest of us.  He didn't act like he was any better than the rest of us.  If it hadn't been for his lead guitarist pushing him towards the door so they could get on the road, I do believe he would've stayed for much longer, because you could tell he liked being there.  He loves cameras too.  He took some girl's camera from the crowd, and was taking pictures with it.  But dangit, I didn't have my camera with me, I had left it up in the room, because we were just going down so Jer could get a beer, and I could get a soda.  How was I to know that Jason Aldean would be down there??? I did get a whole bunch of pictures at the concert though that I will post on here, as soon as I have time to go through them, and find the best ones.

We had a Super Bowl party at my sister's today, and other than me having a slight headache, it was a blast too.  We grilled way too much food.  My sister's family and ours will be eating on it all week long.
