I am scared...

Well tomorrow is the big day.  This test is going to change our life some how.  My little girl will either have to have surgery on her curved spine or she will be in a brace until it gets strighten out.  I am scared, nervous, anxious, I think a little bit of everything combined.  I know it will work out, but as a mom you can't help but be scared.. She is so sick she fought to stay awake until 7:45,  I just hope the dr. is right and they will do the test.

Keep in mind that it may not be entirely answered after this test. They may still do more, and you'll likely have to wait a few days or even a week or more to know the results.

Good luck with the test. Kids adapt pretty well, so your daughter will do OK as long as you stay positive. I will keep you in my prayers.

my sister had the same problem when she was little, i remember she had to wear a brace, and after 7 month, it was straightened out and she was a normal kid. i hope everything goes well for your little one and the doctors will do everything they can to help her

my friend had to have the surgery and she had to wear a cast for 6 months after that
but they wouldnt do it this young
she was about 19ish
they wanted her to finish growing
i would question the surgery, how will her growing impact the surgery or the cast if thats what she is gets.

some how it will all work out

I know quite a few kids who have worn these braces. They aren't fun to wear and not very fashionable. The key is to get the kids to wear them.
