I spoke with my co-board member today with our Homeowners ASsociation. She's the president. She informed me that our new maintenance contract with the property manager includes patching the cracks in the wall (the first time) so that will buy me a little time. In the mean time we are working to get the bylaws changed where these defective walls and roofs would be covered by the association. IF we can get this approved by 80% of the paying homeowners, the wall could eventually get replaced by the HOA. The bad news, of course, is that this would mean my dues will go up. But, I'd gladly have my dues go up a little each month and know that my roof and defective wall would be handled by the association.
So, now I'm hoping & praying we can get the 80% of paying homeowners to approve the bylaw changes...
