What's on Your Mind?

I'm thinking about how I get to have the house all to myself today. William is going to his brothers to watch the big game.

House cleaning and organizing, We have been sick with strep and now I have a killer cold, so things need done around here.

My thoughts are the same as yours......I have 16 people coming for dinner and the Super Bowl tonight and I'm still sitting at this computer. The only way I'm going to stop is if I shut it down completely!.......Guess I'm about done Gathering for the day!

I'm wondering how many boo boos it is possible for a toddler to get in one day.

I'm stuck at achool for the Super Bowl, and the stupid kids around my room are SO loud So early...I wish I was still asleep.

going to the big city today to take daughter to get a dress for her school dance its a big one you know and wondering how my son is going to act, we will be at my dads place for most of the night and just pray my son can act good. so thats whats on my mind..Lol

I just got done reading some more in my psychology text so I'm thinking about how dull it is reading about study groups and how we analyze things. I just want to get to the interesting stuff

I am prepping or the classes I teach tomorrow.
I am trying to stay positive about President Obama.
I am going over my to-do list and trying not to miss anything.
I have a goal of making just 100 points this week. I made over 200 last week.
I am grateful to all those who helped me.

I am wondering about where we are going to go and what I should do about how my landlord has treated me.

I'm thinking about if today is going to be fun or not. I seriously hope it is but I have my doubts.

Catching up on some cleaning and washing the curtains.

I'm also working on taxes-But my daughter keeps pointing out that I'm working Gather more than on taxes....lol

Nothing much. I am planning to file my taxes today. I finally got all my 1099s and stuff. Some business are so slow in giving me my tax forms.

I have actually been very crabby and impatient today. My husband decided to pick today to hook up the new digital converter boxes that we got 3 weeks ago. I don't know why he didn't do it on one of the days last week when he was laid off. It seems he needed me to get on line and get assistance to get the stupid things activated because for some reason he couldn't use the phone to do it. The whole process took three times on the Comcast web page with "live customer service" at aboug 1/2 an hour or more each time. Then after I couldn't take it anymore, I just called them like I told him to do in the first place. (He said he just got a recording.) It took about 2 minutes on the phone and the problem was fixed and all three tv's worked fine.
This whole episode took place when I was just getting into sorting reciepts for a friend who has a farm and a couple of rentals. He gives me a plastic bag full of bills and receipts from the whole year and I organize it into something his accountant can use to do his taxes. GRRRRRRR ( I don't know why he doesn't give it to me every month like I have asked him to so it won't be such a huge job)
Then in the middle of all that, my daughter had an epiphany that could help her get some free money for college and needed me to put together a family tree establishing about 5 generations. (Yeah, right)
Anyway, I didn't get all the tax stuff organized, but I did get through the first sort. I didn't get the family tree done, but I did find my husbands mother's birth date.
I DID get the tv working correctly. I did call my mom. And now I can have some Gather time.

Just getting through my emails and watching tv. Waiting for the clothes on the line to dry. Thinking about when to burn trash. Also considering moving the pool table so it's more 'squared' in the room, haven't fully decided though. I wouldn't leave Gather, just set everything to not notify you, do your work, check in later. Someone will be here to talk.
