Walker and I were talking over dinner, and the topic of "what were you doing 27 years ago, came up. That got me thinking. What was everyone doing on this day, 27 years ago, on the day I was born?
It's your birthday? My kids are older than you. You are making me feel old. Let's see I was probably running around with a 3year old and 6 year old kid.
I have no memory of what I was doing when you were born. I was four and a half years old and I had been deaf for (wait, let me do the math.. July 4, 1981 to January 27, 1982...) 5 months, 3 weeks and um.. eh... 6 days? HAHAHA!
I was not born yet. :) I was born June 20, 1982 so I guess I was around technically. My parents were living in Norway at the time, so I was there and probably freezing, even in the womb.
Happy Birthday Leah!! Let's see. By then I was still living at home and working as a nurse's aide. Didn't make much money but loved the people I took care of.
Dunno exactly, i had my son in '81, so he was scooting around and two older siblings, I was probably taking a nap. 40 years ago on this day, The Beatles performed their last live concert on the rooftop~ That I do know and remember. Happy Birthday!
Married, in love, selling industrial chemicals. Helping DH host a Bible study in our home and with other hospitality related ministries for the Presbyterian church where he was a deacon. (By the time he died, he had been a deacon for 37 years.) Hoping that we would have children.
I was 17 and the day was a Saturday and it is the end of January? I was probably working - possibly watching football with some friends. I was a senior in high school that year.
My parents had just recently found out I was on the way. My dad wasn't happy. lol (I was baby #6, baby #1 died as an infant, though, so typically I refer to myself as child #5) I was due July 20, 1982. Unfortunately for my mom, I wasn't born until August 29, though.
Happy birthday. My husband and I had just opened an auto repair business and were battling a very cold winter with less than ideal equipment. We were both working 12 hour plus days.
I was 2 1/2 at the time and my brother was born 6 days earlier on the 24th of December so I was probably still adjusting to having a sibling in the house and having to share my parents.

We sold that business to our nephew in 2007.
