Anyone got a spare $10K sitting around??? ARGH!

Ok.. so I'm on the board of directors for my Homeowners association.  This past year we discovered that one wall of our townhomes is basically made of particle board which is disintegrating, so basically the stucco is just falling down. The walls have to be replaced. So, I'm seeing the bills that have come in for the HOA to replace walls that the previous board started that should not have been done by the board as they are homeowner's responsibility. I'm just hoping &  praying my wall isn't one of the bad ones.

But, alas, no such luck. As I was standing outside today I see a big long crack at the base of my wall. Unfortunately, it's also where its going to constantly be getting wet from the sprinklers, so mold will become an issue if we don't do something.

Where in the world am I supposed to get $10K to replace this wall? I can only pay my monthly bills by the grace of God each month. I tell my husband about it tonight and he just says "don't worry about it."  Well, we can't just IGNORE it. It's a reality and it's going to have to be dealt with. We can't live in a house without one wall!! Does he think we should just wait til the whole darn thing comes crashing down, leaving us totally exposed??

I could really use some prayers about this.... $10K is HUGE to us. We already have debt in excess of 1.5 years of my husband's salary (not including the mortgage) and it's through no fault of our own - just cost of living increasing faster than hubby's paycheck. I'm really at my wits end with all of this. I can't sell. Can't live any where else any cheaper... I feel trapped.
