Jason Mitchiner, Nick Vujicic, Allison Wetherbee

If you have not yet "met" these inspiring people, I invite you to do so.
As most folks at Gather know, I have fibromyalgia, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, IBS, dry eye, permanently thinned skin, chemical sensitivities, arthritis, and a myriad of other maladies that often go hand-in-hand with fibro. Lately, fibro fog has been driving me nuts. I don't like being confused or foggy.
But my life has no challenges compared to what these three individuals face each and every day. And they choose to be an inspiration to the world.
Â
Â
Jason Mitchener was born with a rare neuromuscular disease that now confines him to an electric wheelchair and requires him to use a ventilator to breathe. Still, he provides God's message through daily (when he is able) devotionals.
Nick Vujicic was born without limbs, but he's the best motivational speaker. If you have not seen his videos, just do a search at YouTube.com. There are dozens there.
Â
Allison Wetherbee was also born without limbs. In her new book, I Was Born This Way, her faith, courage and humor are shown as she tells the story of her life.
Â
I just found out that Allison has a new blog: Living Limbless

When you're wondering why life can sometimes be so tough, remember these three inspiring people.  Sign up for Jason's devotionals. Check out some of Nick's videos. Or read some excerpts from Allison's book. Even though they have challenges greater than most of us each and every day, they find time to praise God and to share what God has done in their lives. I urge you to get to "know" them.
