Drama ? Why yes Please

I do drama


I keep hearing the terms "drama queen", and  "I don't do drama"  over and over again. After much concideration I have come to the conculsion that I do idea do drama, therefore I must be a drama queen. Lets look at the meanigs of the word shall we.
Drama means

1) a literary composition for theatrical presentation
2) a play, a movie, or television production of a serious nature
3) dramatic art, literature, or affairs
4) a series of events involving conflicting forces

So if I didn't do drama I would never read, watch a movie, enjoy great art, or become angry. Excuse me but, everybody becomes angry some tome or another.
Imagine no drama in any of the great works of literature, or never in a movie, os music. Victor Hugo with no drama or anger, how much more meaniful his work would have been. Great works of art would never make you feel anything. Hey we could all go to musuems and see  paintings of kids and animal with huge eyes, or bunnys and flowers in pretty colors. Now that ought to move ya.
I first heard the term" I don't do drama" from an older grandchild in reference to a younger sibling saying " I won't be your friend any more ! " ( any parent can tell you what age group that statement came from ). Drama Queen from a per-teens tee.
As for the anger part, well we all know how happy Christ was when he drove the money leanders out of the temple. No drama in the Bible folks.
Life is serous and it is full of emotion.   And I for one will be dammed if I will cover the fact that I am an emotional human being because someone tries to shame me into being someone other than myself. And expecially for some stupid catch phrase that with all probibilty came from a TV show.

So there you have it, I'm a drama queen. I feel bliss,  rage, agony, melancholy and all the other emotions that make live worth living.
