An ice storm can cause great damage and also leave behind fleeting moments of exquisite beauty.

Mundane objects such as wire on a fence line and a charcoal grill are made magical by the tranformative power of water frozen in time.

These are all beautiful though, Tonia... Thank you for showing us the beauty in the unexpected.
Blessings and best wishes - S.
Any ice feather fronds, forming on glass?
Thank you for showing this through your eyes. I am priveleged to know you.
Thank you for posting to this group whose only purpose is to thank you for posting to this group.
What a great idea to offer this collection to hospitals, etc. Each photo stands alone unique, and awe inspiring but I also like them together. I could see myself never making it down whatever hallway had them displayed.
And it's so nice to view this from a nice warm remote location.
Thanks for the tour.
These photos are precious and pristine...you have the eye and edit expertise of a great photographer.
I was hoping you had gotten out and taken photos of this storm. I was relieved to read that you and yours came through it safely. I have never seen anything like the shots of the fence. Really great work.

Khhm. Boston is on a lower latitude than Marseilles...
