How I completed a picture in Microsoft Paint
I need to point out first in this paint program, if a mistake is made, "UNDO" can only be done three times consecutively. Undo is found under "EDIT" and clicked on to reverse the last action done.
Using the LINE tool, I drew a picket fence against the plain BACKGROUND
The top first, then the vertical lines to complete the 'fence' look
Next, I chose a color I liked, from the color choices at the bottom, and filled
my background. I FILL by using the paint bucket icon.
Drawing the fence first makes the fill easier. Otherwise, I'd have to do more tedious painting to paint the fence white.
Now, to draw the flowerpots using LINE and ELIPSE

...and FILL with color. If the color chosen isn't quite the shade I prefer, I can click on EDIT COLORS, after clicking on 'colors' at the top of the page. Clicking 'Define custom colors' a color chart opens. I choose my color, click on 'add to custom colors' and click on 'OK' to close that box.
Using the CURVE LINE, I draw the stems and make them curve in the angle I desire.
When I click on the 'line' or 'curve line' I can decide on the THICKNESS of my drawn line by choosing an option that opens at the bottom of the tools selection box.
Continuing, I use the paint. I can do that by using the PAINT BRUSH, or SPRAY PAINT. With experimentation I create flower hearts..
Again, I use the ELISPE and paint... This time to make the 'leaves'
The TEXT tool can add words/titles. This can be found by clicking the "A" icon in the tool box.
If I want to fill the text box background, I would have to enlarge the picture and paint the color in.
Under VIEW at the top of the page, scroll to ZOOM in the drop box, I'd click "LARGE SIZE"
This enlarges the picture, and makes it easier to paint small spaces. When finished painting, I simply do the reverse, and go back to "normal size" For this example, I chose to leave the text box background white.
"Hearts" was the challenge during the week of January 28, 2008 for Drawing Challenge Group. Below, is the finished picture I submitted.

I use Paint as a poor man photo shop. It takes forever to manipulate photos. I should probably just buy Photoshop and be done w/ it.
Wonderful job.
That is as nasty as I could come up with.

I used MS Paint to fix a photo, in the beginning, and it worked great. Now I have Paint Shop Pro 7 and Adobe Photoshop Elements.
