Interesting Statistics
Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the Presidential election:
Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29 Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000 Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1 Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won by Republicans was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.
Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare.
Professor Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase. If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years Pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

Professor Olson is correct; further proof that this is a Conservative Country. But, as Professor Tyler has so aptly pointed out, the "apathy" phase will kill us. The so-called "republican" party had better wake up and return to the principles of the Founders, re-calibrate our "immigration" Policy (as if we had one) and do the hard work necessary.
If they don't, the "takers" will have their way, and our Country, and its vision, will come to an end.
I also agree about the crime rate in areas run by democrats vs. republicans. I saw an article on the nation's most dangerous cities a couple months ago, and not surprisingly most of the cities on that list were governed by democrats.

Ronald Reagan Quotes
Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty.
Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
I've never been able to understand why a Republican contributor is a 'fat cat' and a Democratic contributor of the same amount of money is a 'public-spirited philanthropist'.
If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.
Protecting the rights of even the least individual among us is basically the only excuse the government has for even existing.
There are no easy answers' but there are simple answers. We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right.
And they see so much evil when there is actually more posative seccess and accomplishment.
Good point here
Dan, hard to understand, isn't it?
