As I mentioned in one of my comments on my post "Mturk Follow-up," I did end up contacting the company this morning in regards to how long it is taking for my hits to be processed.
I just received a response that has greatly clarified things. They said that, "Requesters can evaluate a HIT you've submitted in many different ways. Some are automated and others require manual review. Because Requesters may use any method they prefer, we're unable to estimate how long it will take for your submission to be approved or rejected."
The good part of this is that there is a "maximum review time allotted" for HITs. That time period is "30 days from the date of submission. If the Requester has not reviewed your work at that time, it will be automatically approved."
It is good to know where things stand.
